Dr. Luis Missura

Dr. Missura was born in Quito, Ecuador, and raised in Southwest Florida where he attended the University of Central Florida for his undergraduate studies in Biology and graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine with his DMD degree. He continued his education by  further attending the Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Ft. Campbell, KY, and attended the Endodontics residency at Ft. Gordon, GA, concurrently earning a M.S. in Oral Biology from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, where he conducted research in the field of regenerative endodontics. He served as a soldier and dentist in the US Army for nine-years and has been practicing endodontics since 2016.

 

Dr. Missura has a beautiful wife hailing from the Atchison area who has gifted him with an immense sense of pride for the greater Kansas City area. In addition, he has three wonderful rambunctious sons aged seven, five and one-years old. Dr. Missura is extremely passionate about his family, and enjoys cooking, archery, the outdoors, playing music, and various other hobbies. He’s a diehard UCF Knights, Chiefs, and Royals fan.

Dr. Missura enjoys showing patients compassionate dental care and strives to make every case pain-free. He has a high standard of care and loves to show patients a different side of dentistry that relays kindhearted treatment to every patient.
